Bob learned in an earlier time that he needed more than the two dimensional drawings, he wanted to see the back side. When he told the instructor at Sac State in Sacramento he was not happy with the piece he had produced he was then told he should turn to sculpting.
He gets ideas from nature such as rocks, streams and wildlife near his home in Tucumcari, New Mexico.
With the combination of nature and metal he produces his art in his shop.
